DESCRIPTION:

Wind tunnel tests have identified a slight whistle noise in the area of the lower A pillar.

The root cause has been found:

reference hole in the A pillar (behind the instrument side cover) is supposed to be covered with a tape. Due to production error there is a possibility that the tape is missing.

SERVICE:

In case the customer complains wind noise from A pillar lower (see attached instruction):

  • Remove the instrument panel side cover

  • Check for the presence of the tape if not

  • Apply the tape PN 9474534 (2 if both are missing)

  • Install the instrument panel side cover.
