DESCRIPTION:

Some type of a high pitch whistle noise may occur near the outer rear view mirror area. The noise may be described as a whistling noise at approximately 60 mph.

MATERIALS:

SERVICE:

Seal off the area between the mirror harness and the door structure by use of butyl tape (PN 1161783) as described in this bulletin.

Seal the area between the door structure and the harness with butyl tape (PN 1161783).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Verify that the complaint has been solved.
